These are just the right size to cut out fondant designs. I haven't had any problems with rusting - I rinsed the cutters with water then sat them on a paper towel to dry.



I think the previous reviewer's product rusted because they were placed in the dishwasher - the description plainly states they are not dishwasher safe.

Lots of variety available with this mini-cookie cutter set. However, unlike most Wilton products, this set rusted after one round in the dishwasher. I will not buy another set like this one because it did rust so rapidly.

Great little X-mas tree to help brighten up your home during the holiday season. This little 6" tree can be placed atope your TV, window sill, or wherever and the lights will look festive. I purchased these a few weeks before Christmas 2008, and they arrived quickly and were exactly what I was looking for. I put my own white lights, berries, and artificial snow on them and they looked beautiful. The only problem was that two of the branches were broken off at the trunk on the smallest tree. It wasn't worth sending them back, and I was able to fix them easily by drilling new holes for the branches. The stands were sturdy and tight fitting so the trees don't wobble. For the price, they are excellent if you are willing to string your own lights and add a few decorative touches.

Even if this Christmas tree stand only lasts one season, it is worth every penny for the 45 to 60 minutes I would spend holding up the tree while my husband tightened screws, then we straightened the tree again, repeat with screws, etc. The tree was up in under a minute with the Krinner stand and it releases just as easily too, we tested that. Then it was tightened again in under a minute. I LOVE THIS stand! I have an hour of my life back every Christmas season, no sap on my clothes, no scratches from the needles, etc.

The Large Krinner Christmas Tree Genie put the Joy back into putting up the Christmas tree! It IS as easy as everyone says it is AND it is very sturdy. We debated getting the XL model, but we decided that since our tree was going to be 8 feet high that the Large version would be big enough (plus we were able to save about [...]). The stand is perfect for our tree and much larger than I expected it to be.



With other stands my wife and I usually end up in a fight and we typically spend up to an hour screwing the bolts into the tree, adjusting, picking the tree up after it falls... you know the routine! Buy the Krinner tree stand and don't waste your time on any other product!

I have vivid memories as a child of my father swearing like a sailor...trying to get the christmas tree to stand up straight and not fall over. It easily took an hour for him to assemble the stand,place the tree on it and then argue with my mother over the fact that the tree wasnt straight! What a nightmare.



I bought this stand 3 years ago and I must say I'm sure its saving marriages left and right! If my father had this stand, it is likely he would have stayed with my mother (well maybe... I tend to be overly optimistic). I am a 5'6 female who lives by herself. I can honestly say that for the past 3 years I have put up the tree all by myself with no ones assistance! No jokes. I get a 8 foot tree every year. All I have to do is put the tree inside the Krimmer,straighten the tree the way I like it, and then crank the handle with my foot until it tightens itself around the tree stump. This whole process takes about 45 seconds...and I am not joking! The person who made this must be making millions... This is a great investment and you'll have it for years.

Be aware that Spode was purchased by Portmeirion and has now off-shored this pattern to Malaysian and Chinese manufacturers. That said, you can continue your collection but the quality will not be the same. :(

We have many pieces of Spode Christmas Tree dishes. But the last ones we got as gifts at Christmas 2008 are absolutely inferior. The first thing we noticed was that the Christmas Tree design on the plates was like a pasted on decal, not part of the dish itself. With the older plates, if you closed your eyes and touched the tree design, you couldn't feel it, it was part of the porcelain. But with the newer plates, it does feel like a decal pasted on. It is definitely inferior.



And of course these newer ones are made in China or in Thailand. I would NEVER eat from any of these plates (since the melamine scare). Now, I am just looking where to dump them. I don't want to sell or give them to anyone. So, they will probably end up in the garbage.



A bit of advice - don't buy any spode dishware.

This little tree was a great deal, and is the perfect size! I've been looking for one of these for a couple years now, but they were always either too expensive, or really cheap looking. I was thrilled to see Target carried them!



I have this sitting in the center of my dinning room table. It's not too big, but it's also not dinky. It didn't come with the blue Linus blanket as some others do, but I have a young son, so finding a small blue blanket in my house ws no trouble. If you're looking for your own Charlie Brown tree, I definitely recommend this one. I love seeing it every day, and will miss it when the holiday season is over.
